Philosophy

Interior design is more than taste and far more than collecting "things" to put into rooms. While this statement may seem too obvious to mention, a great deal of what passes for interior design is nothing more than the imposition of someone's preconceived notions or "taste" while putting "things" into rooms. We are dedicated to the principle that interior design is most alive when it springs from a profound understanding of its architectural context without being limited by that thought.

Architecture addresses the character and topography of its setting and orientation, as well as the functional relationships between spaces. Interior design has a related but very different focus, including the setting of moods and provisions for human use and comfort.
